Are you looking for a place to serve? Consider volunteering for the Communion Prep Team in 2018. There is an IMMEDIATE NEED in this area. You would be responsible for preparing the communion trays for Sunday services on a rotational basis. If interested, contact Steven Widener.
There is an immediate need for Celebration Place (Children’s support) volunteers during CR on Thursday nights. There is also a need for van drivers. Please contact Ray Keeton if interested.
The Baptism Team could use your help. Each Sunday morning we have volunteers who commit to be there before services to help with any baptisms. Help us fill our boxes! Pinedale is committed to collect 180 boxed dinners each month for Crisis Control Ministries. We have been falling consistently short in meeting our goal, so we need your help. Place your donations in one of the decorated boxes throughout the church.

Please invite your Deaf friends and family members to worship with us during the interpreted 10:45 am Soma Service. Please note: The Deaf Ministry seating area is located on the lower level (baptistry side). The section has been marked off, so please save these seats for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
Join us the 3rd Sunday of each month as Pastor Brad Schaaf leads a Deaf Worship Service in Room 207. Why? The goal is to draw unchurched Deaf in our community to visit. Since the language of Deaf is visual, this simple environment makes it easier for newcomers to feel comfortable. Prayerfully, we hope they will choose to make Pinedale their home!
Again, this new style of service will only be held on 3rd Sundays. All other Sundays, the deaf will attend the interpreted 10:45am service in the Main Worship Center. If you know anyone who is Deaf, please invite them and give us their contact information! For those hearing who want to join us, the Deaf Worship Service will also be voice-interpreted.
A Sunday School Class for the Deaf meets at 9:15 am in Room 202. This class is led by our Deaf Minister, Brad Schaaf.
Dollar Club Sunday is the second Sunday of each month. We ask that you place an extra $1 bill in the offering bag. All single $1 bills will be used to help people in our church family or the community in the name of Jesus Christ. (Only single $1 bills apply, any other amount will be added to the General Fund.)
Are you interested in learning to crochet/knit? Or perhaps you may already know but would like to join our group to enjoy the fellowship. (washcloths, baby hats, hats and scarves for the homeless) Bring your own supplies and join us! Contact the Church Office if you have questions.
The PCC Men's Wednesday Night Class began a new study on January 10th at 7:00 PM. "Kingdom Man" by Dr. Tony Evans challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God as well as their position over what God has given them. It provides concepts men can follow that will help them to actively pursue ways to maximize and develop the character qualities of biblical manhood in their lives. Contact Rick At Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.

We began a new book study, First Peter: A Living Hope, on Tuesday, April 10th and Wednesday, April 11th. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers' true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. (9 sessions) Books are available to purchase ($13) in class. The Tuesday class meets in Room 202 at 6:00pm and the Wednesday class meets in Room 204 at 7:00pm. No childcare on Tuesdays.
