Pinedale will be collecting 12” Teddy Bears for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department again this year as part of Leave It Better. If you would like to donate bears towards this cause, you may drop them off in the designated box in the Church Office.

Help us fill our boxes! Pinedale is committed to collect 180 boxed dinners each month for Crisis Control Ministries. We have been falling consistently short in meeting our goal, so we need your help. Place your donations in one of the decorated boxes throughout the church.
If you have questions about Crisis Control or would like to volunteer, contact Vicki Jones at 336.724.7875, ext. 1043 with questions.

Are you interested in learning to crochet/knit? Or perhaps you may already know but would like to join our group to enjoy the fellowship. We are meeting each Tuesday night from 6:30-8:00PM in Room 207. Our goal is to have fun but also to work on projects to give away as an outreach. (washcloths, baby hats, hats for the homeless, etc.) Our current project is a knitted scarf. Bring your own supplies and join us! Contact the Church Office if you have questions.!
A new men’s Bible Study, Detours, will begin on August 30th at 7:00pm in Room 203. The biblical account of Joseph clearly demonstrates that God is at work even when life seems to be going wrong. Even today, it’s easy to wonder why God would allow calamity to happen. This study by Tony Evans helps believers navigate detours that may take you through trials, injustice or betrayal. You will be comforted and encouraged when you learn to rest in God’s redemptive plan and the hope found in His sovereign will. Contact Rick At Lee for more information.
Come join us for a fun time of fellowship, exercise and sharing Jesus Christ. Every Tuesday morning at 10:30AM. Skill level: Beginner to intermediate. Meet at the Salem Lake parking lot at the dam. For more information contact Paul Siwinski (336-624-7343) or Steve Garling (336-813-7320).
Are you interested in singing? You should consider joining the Pinedale worship choir this fall through spring. We will resume practices on Wednesday, August 30th at 6:45pm. For more information, contact Kristen Adkins.
The Pinedale Prison Ministry is now collecting items for the Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry. All women of Pinedale are invited to begin a new, nine week book-club type study on the book Radical by David Platt. Take a transforming journey in authentic discipleship. As the pastor of a large and wealthy congregation, David Platt began to see a discrepancy between the reality of his Church and the way Jesus said His followers lived. In Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream, Platt examines how American Christianity has manipulated the gospel to fit our cultural preferences and challenges readers to rediscover the path. This class meets at 7:00pm in Room 204.
On Sunday, October 6th, 2013 we celebrated Pinedale’s 100th Birthday! What a great weekend as we celebrated 100 years of serving Jesus and the many blessings God has bestowed on our church family. Click on the titles of the different services below to view videos from the day.
